Small Group Training starting June 2nd

Dear Parents & Players,

It looks positive that we will be heading into Phase 3 for opening IL by the end of this month. We are going to plan on starting Small Group Training for Travel Players June 2nd.  We also plan on offering Youth Academy Training starting June 15th.

We will be following protocols and guidelines from our governing soccer organizations, State of Illinois and CDC. Click here to view: http://illinoisyouthsoccer.org/illinois-youth-soccer-return-to-activiy-protocol-updated-may-26 and https://northernillinoissoccerleague.com/downloads/NISL%20COVID-19%20RETURN%20TO%20PLAY%20GUIDELINES%205.22.20.pdf  and here is a link for forms in Spanish http://www.illinoisyouthsoccer.org/forms/covid-19-resources

The decision to participate is up to individual Families, if you are not comfortable at this time we understand. All Players participating MUST have a signed waiver before they are allowed to participate.

IYSA Waiver is filled out by U14 Girls (IWSL) & Youth Academy - https://illinoisyouthsoccer.demosphere-secure.com/_files/COVID-19%20WAIVER.pdf

NISL Waiver filled out by U9 Co-ed team & ALL Boy’s Teams: https://northernillinoissoccerleague.com/downloads/NISL%20COVID19%20-%20Participant%20Waiver%2052220.pdf

We will do 2 small groups at each time slot – there is enough space for Coach Scott and myself to each take a small group (9 Players). IF your Player(s) will be attending training you have to email us at
[email protected] and indicate your Player’s name/birthyear/what practice(s) they will be attending. We CANNOT exceed small group numbers so if Players just show up, we will have to turn the Player away if we exceed maximum allowed at this time of Phase 3. We will offer more time slots if needed.

We will start slowly and safely with shorter sessions as we begin returning to play. When your session ends Players need to go directly to their car. Players coming to a session after one session ends should enter field 5 minutes prior to session starting. Please have equipment on and be ready to play. All Players need to bring a ball with air and have their own water bottle.

Parents, please stay in your car so we do not exceed number of people allowed on the field and also be able to follow protocols/guidelines.

It is the Parent’s responsibility to take their Player’s temperature prior to session. No Player should attend session that has a fever or is not feeling well. We will have hand sanitizer. Players are not required to wear a mask while they are playing (during this phase we will be social distanced) but can if you want them to. Trainings will consist of individual ball work, Group ball work (social distanced) and soccer fitness.

Yours in Soccer - "the beautiful game",

Scott & Jenny
